project | This home is located one hour north of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in a small town called La Penita. The house is situated centrally in the town and is only two blocks from the town's eight mile beach. The property is the middle unit in a brick tri-plex and since it's original construction two levels have been added thus incurring major structural challenges. The owners directed the contractor to reinforce all structural members as well as replace all existing electrical and plumbing systems. The brick coffered ceilings will remain intact, the walls Venetian plastered, and the floors tiled with adobe Mexican tile.
