history | I learned the art of batik in 6th grade at the Craft School in Shelburne, Vermont. The batik course was taught as an alternate medium to the popular Tie-Dye course typically offered in the early 1970’s. I am currently working on a series of Mexican star quilts for the Mexican casa.
